Paris, 15 September 2025 – Racine advised Pathé Cinémas, a major player in the European film industry, on the acquisition of the remaining capital of the companies that own and operate a cinema complex in the heart of Paris’s 17(th) arrondissement, in the Batignolles district. As a long-standing partner of these companies, Pathé Cinémas has become their sole partner.

Pathé Cinemas, a subsidiary of the Pathé Group, is a leading name in European cinema with a long-standing history. With cinemas across France and internationally, the group combines technological innovation with audience experience while preserving its cinematic heritage, which dates back to 1896.

This acquisition gives Pathé Cinémas full control of the 2018 complex in the heart of Paris, created in partnership with SNES (Société Nouvelle d’Entreprise de Spectacles), which manages Ciné-Movida.
