Racine Avocats builds on its talent : Three new partners appointed

Paris, 10 December 2024 – Quentin Cournot, Lisa Ducani and Coline Heintz have been appointed partners in the firm’s tax, restructuring and litigation departments respectively.
Racine Avocats is pleased to announce the appointment of Quentin Cournot, Lisa Ducani and Coline Heintz as partners. These three appointments, effective from 1 January 2025, confirm the firm’s focus on organic growth. They will strengthen the tax, restructuring and litigation departments.

• Quentin Cournot has been appointed partner in the tax department of Racine Avocats.
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2014, he joined Racine Avocats the same year. Quentin Cournot specialises in transactional taxation. He focuses on advising French and foreign private equity funds and management teams on their LBO and expansion capital transactions. He has also developed advanced expertise in real estate taxation, enabling him to assist investment funds with their real estate acquisitions, disposals and structuring. Quentin holds a Master II in Corporate Taxation from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a Master II in Estate Taxation from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.

• Lisa Ducani has been appointed partner in the restructuring department of Racine Avocats.
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2014, she joined Racine Avocats the same year. Lisa Ducani specialises in assisting and restructuring companies in difficulty. In particular, she acts on behalf of companies, shareholders (in particular investment funds), but also foreign creditors, in the context of preventive proceedings (ad hoc mandates, mediation, distressed M&A operations) and/or collective proceedings (both on the debtor’s side and on the buyer’s side). In recent years, she has been involved in a number of high-profile cases, including FagorBrandt, McDonald’s, FRAM, Cauval, Presstalis Geoxia, Keyor and ABM Pharma. Lisa holds a D.U. in Comparative Law from McGill University in Montreal, a Diplôme de Juriste en Conseil en Entreprise – DJCE from the Institut de Droit des Affaires d’Aix-Marseille and a Master II in Corporate Engineering from the Institut de Droit des Affaires d’Aix-Marseille. Lisa is President of the AJR (Association des Jeunes Professionnels du Restructuring) and an active member of the WIR (Women in Restructuring) network. She is listed in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers – Ones to Watch in the field of “Restructuring of companies in difficulty”.

• Coline Heintz has been appointed partner in the litigation department of Racine Avocats. A member of the Paris Bar since 2013, she joined Racine Avocats in 2016. Coline Heintz has a wealth of experience in high-value pre-litigation and litigation matters. She advises on commercial, contractual and equity disputes (shareholder disputes, post-acquisition disputes, etc.), both in court and in arbitration. She holds a Master’s degree in Property Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and a specialised Master’s degree in International Law and Management from HEC. Coline is a member of the Droit et procédure association and also teaches litigation and alternative dispute resolution as part of the Master II Law, Entrepreneurship and Digital (LEAD) programme at Paris-Saclay.
