In the context of the COVID-19 epidemic on French soil, Racine has taken a number of concrete measures to protect the firm’s people and activities by acting in a coordinated manner across all of its offices through its business continuity plan. The safety and well-being of our lawyers, employees and clients, as well as our ability to ensure the continuity of the best possible service, are our top priorities.

We have put in place the following sustainable safeguard measures for our lawyers, employers and clients:

• We have deployed barrier and prevention actions to curb the epidemic at all our sites as indicated by the government, raised the awareness of all our lawyers and employees, made available hydro-alcoholic gels in all our meeting rooms and reception areas and reinforced the cleaning of our reception areas, particularly manual contact points;
• We have asked all our lawyers and employees to avoid non-essential national and international business travel, and asked those who had travelled to the affected areas to quarantine themselves for at least 14 days from the date of their return ;
• We are facilitating remote working for all employees to ensure optimal customer service, including taking advantage of the existing remote working infrastructure that we have put in place as part of our long-standing commitment to business continuity;
• We are cancelling face-to-face meetings at the firm when they are not essential, and giving preference to conference calls or video-conferences with our clients and business partners;
• Finally, we have cancelled all events scheduled over the next few weeks involving clients and outside contacts until further notice;

All of these measures allow the firm to remain fully operational for its clients. In addition, we have set up a working group dedicated to COVID-19 across all our practices, which addresses the related legal and commercial issues that our clients are facing in these difficult times.
