Racine advises NHOOD on the acquisition of Société des Centres Commerciaux (SCC)
Paris, 22 October 2025 – Racine advised Nhood, a real estate services and solutions company, in relation to its acquisition of SCC France, a leading property management firm.
Created in 2021, Nhood is a company owned by the Mulliez Family Association. Based in Europe and Africa, it is developing around thirty urban regeneration projects and managing more than 900 sites for its clients.
Its team of experts devises and implements innovative solutions to maximise the value of its clients’ real estate portfolios. As an urban regenerator, Nhood creates unique, pleasant and attractive ‘better places’ where commerce and mixed use play a central role for the benefit of all. The company brings together the skills of over 1,000 experts covering the entire property value chain, including asset management, shopping centre operation, development and promotion. Nhooders develop a ‘site vision’ approach, combining proximity, foresight and creativity to envision the future of sites and respond to new regional challenges.
Following the acquisition of 100% of SCC, Nhood’s Property Management France division — which already manages 78 shopping centres and generates €55 million in revenue — has become the leader in property management in France.
This acquisition is a strategic move for Nhood, which aims to become the global leader and benchmark in real estate services.
Racine acted on M&A aspects with a team composed of Jean-Christophe Beaury (Partner), Alexia Ruleta (Counsel) and Chloé Giannini (Associate); on property law aspects with Nicolas Boytchev (Partner), Philippe Johnston (Counsel) and Ophélie Vo (Associate); on employment law aspects with Guillaume Thuleau (Partner) and Lena Gonzalez (Associate); and on tax aspects with Quentin Cournot (Partner) and Lauriane Delisle (Associate).
Nhood was also assisted with HR integration by a team from Alixio Group comprising Isabelle Calvez (Deputy Managing Director) and Alexina Portal.
