Racine advises Fipto on the acquisition of its licence to provide payment services

Paris, 3 April 2025 – Racine has assisted Fipto in obtaining payment institution authorisation from the ACPR for its subsidiary FIPTO PI.

Fipto is a stablecoin payment infrastructure for businesses. It is also registered as a Digital Asset Service Provider (PSAN) with the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF). Fipto’s mission is to enable its users to optimise their stablecoin payment flows and manage their fiat and crypto-asset financial transactions from a single platform.

Fipto’s payment institution licence will enable it to expand its range of services to offer its customers a solution that is not only comprehensive and innovative, but also secure and regulated.

Racine’s team consisted of David Masson (partner), Gaétan Bellon, Doris Midy Neirinck and Amaury Perrin (associates), in banking and financial regulation.
